Apparently, the device has a transmitter inside that puts out a signal greater in strength than the echo, and at a frequency corresponding to a selected fraction of the actual vehicle speed. The ad contained a disclaimer stating that it was not to be used against police radar (ha ha) and that it wasn't FCC approved. Anybody have any experience with this gadget?
