Nonsense! I commute to work daily with cleats and am sure many others do so also. Before moving here, I lived in NYC for 8 years and used cleats in the city traffic regularly, preferrably on a track bike. Why do you suppose someone proposed a track-stand contest at a red light? One learns it on all kinds of bikes when using them. I never had a problem in traffic as a result of having cleats. G. Tomasevich
