(Why am I here?)

	I am interested in collecting information on panniers.
The application would be primarily weekend and short touring
trips.  These will be purchased for a club and will be available
to all members, so I am interested in obtaining the best overall
value rather than something with all sorts of "bells and whistles".
	If you have general background information (fabrics, anchoring
systems, racks, etc.) or specific recommendations ("I'm real happy
with ***." or "Avoid ***." or "Buy them from ***."), I would appreciate
hearing from you.
	I think I recall a similar discussion in the early days
of net.bicycle, so I would ask that you respond by mail and allow me
to post a summary when the input is complete.
