I would like to buy a new bicycle and being totally ignorant to what is
good or bad have turned to this newsgroup for help. It seems as though
most of the bike shops within 20 miles of my house sell Schwinn or Raleigh.
I did manage to find one shop that carries Trek and Bianchi and have decided
to purchase my bicycle there. My main use for the bike will be light touring
( i.e. less than 50 miles with vey little gear ) and exercise riding. The
streets in PA for those who don't know are littered with pot holes so hard
as I'll try not to the bike will get banged around.

Does anyone have anything to say good or bad about either the Bianchi or
Trek product line. Please respond by mail and thanks for your help.
