Thank you to the many kind folks that responded to my
query.  The responses were generally favorable.  I'll
include just a few excerpts here.

"reasonable on billing issues"
"no hassles or pressure"
"cheaper 'generic' book packaging"
"light weight - alot of mainstream fiction"
"worth joining for the initial 4 books for $1"
"*NO* trouble whatsoever"
"very good about taking books back"
"selection is broad but they do repeat books from month to month"
"books are reprints and not always the best quality"

I decided to join because there happened to be 4 books that
I was really interested in owning for the initial offer.
