The publisher for all of T. S. Eliots stuff in the US is Harcourt Brace & Javonovich (tch?). There have been a number of editions. In England, the publisher is (naturally) Faber and Faber. It is a set of verses (light, delightful and rather isightful into the joys of cats) written by Old Possum (ie T. S. Eliot) and they have always been published as a set of verses in book form. There are no essays or other extraneous things like serious poetry. The musical cats is not based on OPBOPC, it is (plus a few extra bits) OPBOPC. Old Possum probably is still laughing at get a Tony for his light verse. Enjoy - they are marvelous bits of light verse.
