I haven't checked the code for a fix. If anyone else has noticed this and has the fix please reply to me. Given: file x is nonexistant file y has arbitrary text $ vi x :r y ZZ Nothing gets written to file x. The buffer status does not get changed to 'modified' (I checked with a ^G). Any ideas? -- Robert Berlinger ...{philabs,cucard,pegasus,inhp4,rocky2}!aecom!naftoli "If you're not where you are, you're nowhere"
