      I had a 3 month free introductory offer of membership
      from Bankcard Travel Club of Chicago. I took it since
      they guaranteed that they would beat any advertised
      airline ticket price by upto $200.00 and I was in the
      process of planing a trip to India. After repeated
      calls to their 800 number they failed to respond.

      Comes time to accept membership with my real dollars, I
      turned them down and flamed about the lack of service.
      ... No response.

      My most recent credit card bill has a posting of
      $ 46.20 on it made payable to Bankcard Travel Club !!!
      Calls to the bank got me their number in Chicago. I am
      wondering what I should do...

      What bugs me is how they got my card number ?? I am abs.
      certain I did not give it to them.

      Anybody out in net.land have experience with these &%$#*& ??

      Oh, incidentally, the free membership included a free
      credit card size calculator. (Am I now paying $46 for it??)

      Please send mail fast. I leave on vacation May 12.
