As one who must use both a blade and an electric for a
uniformly smooth long-lasting shave (no remarks about
neanderthals, please), let me offer a testimonial
 for Panasonic's Mr. Whisk -- a battery operated small-sized
portable, perfect for travel and a quick touch-up job on
the way from work to the evening's social function.

This unit costs less than $30, and has an excellent blade
arrangement that seems to be fairly durable. Two AA cells
probably last 2-3 weeks if you use this unit for a full shave.
