Please no flames from those of inferior intellect that think VHS is better. The machine was a Director, really made by Sony. A pin inside broke just a few days ago. It seems that nobody in town would fix it. Zenith's service leaves a lot to be desired. The problem was solved when I found a Sony dealer who would fix it for me. If you buy a Zenith, call around town first and make sure there is a service center that will fix them. Be careful, you do not want the dealer to send it off to the factory. It is really rough being without a VCR for these few days. At least I can get caught up in Usenet news.
