PLEASE! Make sure you are protected by a GFI device. My neighbor mowed his cord and when the blade stopped the mower was electrically hot and the shock he got knocked him down and he nearly broke his arm, could have been worse. The GFI device is supposed to sense the ground current and chop the power within a few milliseconds. If the outlet you use is a standard duplex outlet you can buy a replacement outlet with GFI built in or you can get a plug-in device.
