Lines: 16 On a recent (March, 1984) trip to Florida I was offered a rate of $39.00 a week from AVIS. Well, I certainly expected problems upon arrival, but none surfaced. That was all that I paid, (I didn't get the Insurance). No extra mileage charges or anything !! The car was in wonderful condition and gave me no problems either. I could get a sub-compact because it was only my wife and I, I really didn't notice how big the back seat was. I asked the girl at the checkout if this was a normal rate and she said that in her four years with AVIS this was the lowest rate she had seen. Just thought I would pass on a positive car rental experience. What, me worry ? Ken Kvidahl
