Re: Good fences make good neighbors...

I talked with the owners of the vacant lot next door (they hope to build
one day) before I put up a fence.  We discussed the style of the fence 
and so on.  They ``offered'' to help or pay half of the cost.

Moral:  Talk to your neighbors, they might be reasonable people.
