This recipe is based on one from Ada Boni's Italian Cookbook, modded by experience: Spaghetti Carbonara Ingredients: Enough linguine/spaghetti for 2 people Enough bacon for 2 people Enough grated Romano/Parmesan to satisfy your taste for the stuff 3 eggs, beaten 1/4 cup white wine 1 tsp. pepper Boil pasta until tender. Meanwhile, fry bacon until crisp. Drain and reserve 2 tablespoons bacon fat. Mix together cheese, eggs and wine. When pasta is done, drain and return to hot pot. Immediately add eggs/wine/cheese to hot pasta; add very hot bacon fat and pepper. Toss. The heat of the pasta should cook the eggs. Transfer to hot platter. Serve immediately or you will end up with one very large solid noodle. Garnish with bacon and parsley. Go on diet the next day.
