But does the meat department of my local grocery store carry fruitbats. And if indeed they do, how do I know a good fruit bat when I see one (perhaps the butcher could tell me, but can I trust him. He could be trying to get rid of old bats). Does the recipe say what to do with the wings. The last fruitbat I saw was quite large, and I would hate to see the meatless wing go to waste.
