That doesn't beat the (Y?)(Eu?)reka CA annual Slug Festival. They have a slug cooking contest, where the recipe must contain at least one slug. These recipes are actually judged by taste! Last year a Banana Slug Cream Pie was entered, and as they cut into the pie, little live slugs started popping through the whipped cream topping. Only one judge ate a bite.
