A few years ago a friend of mine got a diamond shaped plexiglass plate
that mounted between the handlebars of his Harley.  He claimed it
deflected the air over him instead of at him.  He said that it even
helped in the rain and that he didn't need a faceshield except at
high speeds.  I don't remember if he made it or bought it.
