Steve Crandall (ihnp4!)mhuxt!evans ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- All I know is the uucp, uucico, uux, mail, etc. that come with the system work, at least for incoming polling or on-demand outgoing mail. It does not poll, at least not as distributed, and I don't think uux will initiate a call. I suspect these programs are hacked already, as news had to be hacked to get it to work, and still has troubles. I did several hacks here (mostly VMS command files) to get our system to poll, preserve /usr/lib/news/.xqtdir, setup the terminal port correctly, give certain commands privileges (similar to setuid), etc. As usual, I got minimal support from TWG on it. <> Lew Mullen { intelca, icalqa, qubix, idi }!t4test!lew
