The inanities above are a clear invitation. In reverse order:

1. It seems to me that you are in California on your own hook. Certainly, you
cannot claim that anyone FORCED you to come to California, and it seems unlikely
that anyone is forcing you to endure the horrors of living in disgusting
California for one day longer than it takes you to pack up your (!?) baggage and
hit the road to the Soviet of Taxachusett.

2. The reason that rents are so high in California is the large number of jerks,
like yourself, and other people who have been flooding into the place. The
phrase "social maturity" is meerly a code for "I don't want to have to be
responsible for my own actions". (You have heard of George Orwell, I hope.) 
The difference between "rent control" and theft is functionally nonexistant. 
Another example of the big lie. Do you object to neighbors raiding your 'fridge
or "borrowing" your stereo or TV? After all, everyone has the "right" to eat.
Everyone has the "right" to some music. What size do you wear? My supply of
socks is getting low.

You are damn right there is some paranoia about property in this state. There
are too many jerks like you around who think they have the "right" to take
what they want while mouthing platitudes about "social responsibility".

Since you are so fond of the nest that you and your ilk have fouled, go back to
it. We really have no need to have you foul ours.
