Many persons will hang up on tapes unless they can be sure they have reached the "right" person, and it isn't a good idea to leave a name or phone number on an outgoing message (it encourages callbacks from crank callers). Also, as I'm sure you can imagine, never say "I'm not home right now." Say: "I'm unavailable to speak at the present time." --Lauren--
