re: smokers taking advantage of "non-smokers" insurance discounts-

My policy will refuse to pay if it is found that the incident covered
by the "non-smokers" discount policy (in this case, my homeowner's
insurance) was related to the insured's smoking behavior. So the
folks thinking that they are getting away with something by paying
the discount price may actually be in for a shock if they ever need
to claim anything on their policy (its hard enough to make a successful
claim if you *are* playing by the rules, the insurance companies are
never in a rush to dole money out, only to collect it!).
