For the great majority of us who were not anal-retentive as children, rules can be modified if all parties agree beforehand. Anyone who didn't like it was invited to leave without prejudice. It is only an interpretation of the rules that retreats do not apply to failed moves. I am sure that, for Turkey to attack Greece, they would actually send troops there, not just look and see if A-H was also planning on attacking. Those troops would have to move somewhere. Unoccupied Serbia would look like a nice place to rest for a while. Waddington's is not God's House. They just market a GAME!!! So would the anal retentive portion of the network go sit in whatever they like to sit on and shove something else into their keyboards. For the people who have made positive contributions in the past, please keep it up. I find them quite interesting. Fellow players should probably speak up as well. - Kaiser Steve - -- Stephen Perelgut Computer Systems Research Group University of Toronto Usenet: {linus, ihnp4, allegra, decvax, floyd}!utcsrgv!perelgut CSNET: perelgut@Toronto
