	Throughout all the discussion of Druidical spells
	it seems that everyone has basically been saying,
	"Druids are useful, but what exactly they are
	 useful for has yet to be discovered."

	I must admit that I am semi-new to AD&D but here's
	some thoughts, and I hope anyone else who happens
	to have the (misfortune?) of playing a Druid will
	respond aswell.

	It doesn't seem to be magic that is the Druid's
	specialty.  Really, it is his ability to work with
	animals.  This later is even more enhanced by his
	ability to transform himself into one.  Which leads
	to a question: the reincarnation spell- what exactly
	is the use of this after you gain the transform ability?

	Also, I have an enhancement to my character: Psi.
	the minors are: animal telepathy, empathy, esp and expansion
	     the major: dimension walk

	1) if a Druid can attract woodland faeries, use earth and wind
	   elementals etc, can he also use other beings from different
	   plains?

	2) animal telepathy & empathy seem to work well together-
	   does anyone have any suggestions?

	3) does anyone have any technique for esp?

	4) my DM insists that it takes a complete term to use
	   expansion- bull! what the hell?!  I think a fine
	   compromise would simply be to let it take effect one
	   turn later, but not to cancel any move i might have...

	   also, once i was bound up- if i use expansion do the ropes
	   also expand with me- AND, what if they're magical?
	   Expansion has to roll to see if it destroys magical items.

ps- does anyone know how to find out what a ring or power word for
a wand is?  my party doesn't have any identify magic- any other ways?
