Seth Yoffe recently posted an offer to distribute complete Rogue
hints, etc. for those who send him requests. 

Seth, could you please post a more complete path description. Here
on the west coast, I have no idea how to get to cmcl2, for instance.

Thanks also to those who replied by mail and by posting to my question
on Armor strength vs. Aquators/Rust monsters. Some of the replies
seemed to imply that I should somehow be aware of the "experience
points" for the various monsters.  How can we find out what the experience
points are for a given monster? Would someone in the know be willing
to post this information?
