Someone recently posted that Magic Missiles always hit, unless
the monster makes a saving throw.

Question - how come when I use a Magic Missile staff, it always
misses due to the monster making his saving throw. I have been
on level 18 or 19, having experience level 10. Would someone
please offer some explanatory information, if there is any?

Have I just been the victim of (constant) very bad luck??
