<for those line eaters out there>

I understand that if you read a scroll of protect armour (armour glows gold I
suspect. (I've only had one of these scrolls but I didn't live long enough to
find out much), it will protect you from aquators(rust monsters).

 my question is,  can you still read a scroll of enchant armour and have your 
armour increase in value??  Or is your armour protected from everything (except
rust traps) once you have read the scroll.
