Lines: 11 I found out some info about rogue that may explain what I had called the "holiday effect". Apparently, you start the game with a set level of "charm". This makes your character such that it may be lucky in encounters. Once I even had the ability to see invisible without wearing any rings. This is set at initialization by a number generated using a combination of your login name and the date. Thus what is a good day for one person may not be for the next. Certain days are certainly much better for rogue playing than others in my experience.
