     This is to announce the imminent appearance of the semi-final and
final rounds of the National College Bowl Championships TONIGHT (Wed. 5/23)
at 8:00 pm on NBC.  Our Princeton team has made it to the semis, and here
we think we're going to take it all.
     A peculiar thing about the LIVE hour-long telecast is that we are told
that the general level of the questions will be made easier, with the intent
being to not lose the viewing audience.  Once again, television programmers
underestimate the intelligence (and trivia enthusiasm) of the viewing audience.
But hey, they are at least putting the show on the air this year.
