Can anyone answer a couple of questions in Organic Chemistry? Here they are: 1. In the reduction of an amino acid by electrolysis, (i.e.COOH to CH3) how do you choose the metals for anode and cathode? 2. How do you figure the time necessary for reduction, and necessary amount of current? 3. How would you reduce a secondary alcohol to it's ketone form (i.e. CHOH to C=O)? Thank you in advance...
