We have over 50 stations on within the range of a couple of digipeaters. There are three bulletin boards on in this group. As it happens, I will be posting this software in a couple of weeks for all to use. Unfortunately, your specific request for TRS-80 environment means you won't be able to use this directly. What we have is a system that runs on the Xerox 820 board with a TAPR TNC. I have one running beside me (at K1BC) and the other two are at K1OJH (who used to run a BBS on a TI99 and TAPR TNC) and at W0RLI who is the main author of this system. Given the recent burst of Xerox 820's you might want to scrounge one up and use this system. I'll be putting it on the repository at SIMTEL20, and will send out a message when it's there. We are late in the Beta test phase now, and copies are going to KA9Q and to some of the other groups this week. /Rcc
