This device captures information describing exact locations of all radar bases on earth. Clearly if the Soviets had this information they would be all set to invade, as they could preemptively strike all radar bases. Unfortunately, the satellite with said vital information fell to earth. The Soviets dispatched a destroyer to pick it up, but the Americans sent a helicopter which got there first, lassoed the satellite and returned it to the U.S. This just goes to show that the whirlybird catches the ERM.
