Don't be so pessimistic. Your joke was just fine. It fits the definition of
humor: logical and unexpected.

Similar to that one was the one I heard at lunch. (This was from someone who
reads netnews, so he may have gotten it from here. Apologies if you've seen
it before).

Did you hear about the recent merger between Honeywell and Fairchild? They
were thinking of calling it:

		Fairwell Honeychild
