What about the systems that don't have vnews? Think about all the frustrated people out there now who think that all they have to do is type vnews to their terminal, and wah-lah, error msgs. If their real familiar with "UNIX" they'll know about translate. If not they ask questions on how to do a particular function. So it hurts when someone gives only a partial solution that is intended for all to use but only a few can implement. So... If you feel the need to enrich peoples lives by giving helpful hints on "How to's", then please think the whole thing out first, then give comprehensive information on the matter that can be used by everyone. Otherwise put in a disclaimer.
