Don offered an analogy. It has nothing to do with nuclear war per se. It tried to state that people were extremely offended, and compared the weakness of the mere word "offended" to the obvious weakness of the mere word "uncomfortable" in another situation. People who interpret this as Don somehow saying that BLKTRAN was as bad as nuclear war are rather fuzzy-headed. To repeat the charge after Don explicitly stated that he was not comparing the joke to nuclear war is stupid, arrogant, a straw man, dishonest, and misleading (**** 'em if they can't take a little criticism). John, I think you are blinded by your unconstructive insistence on criticizing anyone who in any way suggests that there are legitimate reasons to dislike certain jokes, or that people who tell jokes should consider their social implications.
