You have removed the control on the resource 2. The logical extension would be to set up your own distributing system. The publisher and copyright owner shell out $$ just to get the production going. If you can save some of those costs (by working from an already-produced copy), you are no better than the makers of Orange and Pineapple - not paying Apple's R&D costs.
