We about to request bids for a text/graphics processing
system consisting of a supermicro or network of supermicros
and a laser printer.  We need roughly the power and 
functionality of two networked Sun-2 workstations.  
I'd appreciate hearing your experiences with such 
machines--particularly any reliability problems.  

Similarly, has anyone been pushing hard on one of
the new inexpensive Canon-based laser printers?
We'd probably end up running off about a
thousand pages of troff and graphics output a day.
Is there a published duty-cyle for these machines?
