Message-ID: <476@decwrl.UUCP> Date: Wed, 23-May-84 14:48:20 EDT Article-I.D.: decwrl.476 Posted: Wed May 23 14:48:20 1984 Date-Received: Fri, 25-May-84 00:53:10 EDT Organization: DEC Engineering Network Lines: 20 I have ANIX 1.0 by Lazer Systems - it's sort of a UNIX lookalike, but it lacks such niceties as pipes, hierarchical directories, multiple processes, and a few others. The real hardware nicety about it is that it is file compatible with DOS 3.3 but faster. There was supposed to be a Version 2.0 to follow, but I haven't seen it. Does anyone know anything about it, or has Randy Hyde, the author of Version 1.0, gone on to bigger and better things? Also, I'd like opinions on LISA V2.6, which is Lazer's assembler/editor that runs under ANIX or under DOS 3.3. Thanks, as they say, in advance.
