To answer the unixterm questions:
Control o puts you into reverse video, control n gets you out.  So, if you get
stuck in reverse video, the appropriate unix command would be echo ^n
Upload/download have not been added.  I've been thinking about doing that
myself, but it's very low on my list of priorities.  Don't expect it before
this fall.
