[ a snack to apease hungry mailers ]

  I recently acquired a Commodore 64 computer. My display works normal
when powered on. However, if I change to certain background colors,
(yellow is one I believe) and then type a row of IIIIII... , every other
I has the top and bottom missing, and the ones in-between have the vertical
line missing. Has anyone seen this problem before??? Any suggestions on
how to fix-it?? I will summarize replies and post to net. Thanks in advance.
