It is not mentioned at all in my 1541 manual. Why? My guess is that it was just clumsiness on Commodore's part. Or perhaps it is not reliable, so it wasn't included. (Though if that's the case, then the save/replace '@:' shouldn't have been included, as it's well known that using it may trash your files.) Gary Hanson Tektronix IDG
