On the ink-jet paper sold by HP, the dot size is 13 mils, and the center-to- center dot spacing is 10 mils, so the dots overlap. By the way, HP's ink-jet paper is no more expensive than "normal" paper. You can get it from an HP personal computer dealer, from HP directly, or from the paper finisher: Duplex Products, Inc 1-800-521-0190 (quantities of more than 2 boxes are cheaper if you order from Duplex.)
