The connector to the keyboard seems to be a 4-wire shielded type, and it
is subject mainly to attenuation loss and maybe electrical interference,
depending on how you route the cable.  Since the signal output from a
keyboard is small, you may have a little trouble with it, but not knowing
what the electrical specifications for keyboard signal output -- who knows.
If you can provide the figures for signal output from the keyboard, the
expected signal input on the receptor in the micro, and the type of cable
being used (or loss in dB per foot), I will assist in applying the formula.
