I can't really justify the purchase of a dedicated (tape) backup system, but if it could be used with several PCs - which is why I suggest using the serial port, 'cause we all have those installed - then maybe I could swing the bucks out of my boss (or his boss, or his boss' boss...). Yes, I know it would be slow. But if the backup unit can hold the full 10 Mbytes without switching cartridges (or any other operator intervention) then I could start it when I leave the office, and let it run until completion.
