Message-ID: <1220@sri-arpa.UUCP> Date: Thu, 24-May-84 14:36:05 EDT Article-I.D.: sri-arpa.1220 Posted: Thu May 24 14:36:05 1984 Date-Received: Fri, 1-Jun-84 04:46:47 EDT Lines: 16 From: Joe Pistritto I installed one of the Kammerman disk drives in my PC-II about a month ago, (I sent a message to Info-PC at the time), along with an AST Megaplus-II board and IBM color graphics adapter. Well, everything was kind of OK, (some power up difficulties), until last night, when I arrived home to find my power supply DEAD AS A DOORNAIL. I mean, no fan, no juice, NOTHING. I disassembled the PC, removed the power supply, and it still won't do anything. At this point, I am trying to convice my local dealer to order me a PC/XT replacement so I can upgrade the power supply to one that will produce enough juice for this thing. By the way, the folks at Kammerman say it DOES work with a PC-II mounted internally, (it did for me for a month anyway). Most disturbing... -JCP-
