Time and Immortality, a five-part series of articles tailored
especially for USENET, explains how time itself ensures our survival--
in the future as well as the past.

The original 14-part, 1487-line series has been condensed to five
articles, totaling 468 lines.  It is hoped that the more readable
format will engender more participation and discussion.
