I would be more than happy to be on a mailing list that discussed the issues but I worry about it being discussed in a public forum. However, if you think we can get away with it, go for it. I would have no objections to discussing how the military deals with homosexuality. That is, their policies, written and unwritten. But discovering who does what, why, and when just might border on the seedy. I don't know. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad. However, I think we'd present a better face if we just stuck to discussing oppression and the "gay sensibility/perspective" of the world. But, do what you want. I'm never one to spoil anyone's fun or freedom. I only posted this so that if other people felt the same the could add their two cents. Also, I think it'd be nice to have a flaming discussion in net.motss about just where the line gets drawn in discussing "Issues pertaining to homosexuality." Here's to a more active newsgroup!
