Berkeley Lines: 16 X -- will this line get eaten? -- X -- or this one? -- As a matter of fact, Alfred Bester's "The Stars My Destination" *is* being made into a movie, and the script has been written by a friend of mine (who also wrote the screenplay for the new "king kong", co-wrote the s.p. for "three days of the condor", etc. etc.). I have read the script, and I found it to be mostly faithful to the movie, although parts were left out. I must admit that I did not like the script, but I also read the script for "radiders of the lost ark", and I didn't like that one either. But I did like the moveie (a lot!) so one can't judge from that. -- Alexander Burchell [agb@ucbarpa] [ucbvax!agb]
