For the most part, these were (and are) very stable. Around the end of the 50's, newer (and cheaper) one-layer stocks were introduced, which turned out to have miserable long-term characteristics. In particular, they are very likely to experience fading of the blue pigment, which results in the reddish tint that many 60's prints now exhibit. --Lauren--
