For those of you living in fear of a movie version of Lost in Space - there 
already is one, although I don't beleive it has ever been publicly shown.

The original pilot was made as a two hour color film with the same cast as 
the TV series with the exception of Dr. Smith. That character was added 
just before the TV episodes were filmed. The film was 'serious' adventure 
presumably similar to the early episodes of the series.

Parts of the film were used in episodes 1,2,3,4,5 and 8.

It would be great material for a SF con sometime if it still exists.
