Even so, I guess Burgess was upset with the movie because it made Alex out to be kind of cute and sort of a hero, instead of the piece of slimey scum that he was supposed to be. But I think that was largely due to the charm of Malcolm MacDowall (he just couldn't help it!). New way? What's this about a NEW way? B. Walsh
